We may be closed but it certainly isn’t quiet!
19sth Dec 2008
Even though the park closed its gates at the end of October; there has been a lot of activity since then. All the staff are busy keeping the animals well fed and watered, and we are also carrying out lots of essential maintenance work so the park is ready to go for when we re-open in March.

Wishing Well Our Red Squirrels
13th Nov 2008
As you may know Blair Drummond Safari Park’s conservation campaign this year was SOS: Save Our Squirrels. This campaign focused on the native red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris), which Blair Drummond is lucky enough to have a population of within the grounds of the park.

Mobile Customs Visit The Park

MOBILE CUSTOMS VISIT THE PARK
Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park hosted HM Revenue and Customs’ Mobile Exhibition Unit. This summer the team has traveled the length and breadth of the UK showing the public just some of the many things that HM Revenue and Customs actually do. From self assessment tax forms and child benefits, to preventing drug smuggling and illegal trade of animals into the country.

We just received a giraffe adoption certificate for Christmas. I'm not sure the kids understand they don't actually get to bring the giraffe home but we are looking forward to coming back to see it when you open!

I love blair drummond safari park ever since I was a kid, and I have always loved giraffes. Last year my boyfriend adopted a giraffe for me (wallace) and it has to be the best present of all. Over the year I have watched him grow and after winning the VIP tour in May I had the best day of my life feeding him and getting up close. I want to thank blair drummond for making that possible.

We had a wondeful day's visit to the Safari park. Friendly, helpful staff and clean and well cared for rides and facilities allowed us to really relax and enjoy seeing the animals.

The park is so well designed, allowing you to get up close with so many of the animals and also to see them moving and interacting far more than at any zoo.

A first class day out and I'm sure we'll come back.

I just recently adopted a Giraffe and the pack that you get sent to you is really interesting. I love and collect Giraffes. I have been to Blair drummond several times and each time it gets better. I must say though I spend most of my time with the Giraffes. I LOVE THEM xxx
